By accessing or using FinerDocs (“the Service”), operated by FinerDocs (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FinerDocs provides a platform for uploading, hosting, and sharing PDF documents via unique URLs. The Service includes document viewing, analytics, AI-powered document chat, and related features depending on your subscription plan.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others.
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or phishing material.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

5. Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and serve your content as necessary to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Document Expiration and Deletion

Documents on the Free plan are subject to automatic expiration after 7 days from creation. Expired documents and their associated files are permanently deleted. We are not responsible for data loss due to expiration. Paid plans offer extended or no expiration depending on the tier.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinerDocs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and your data may be deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
